It's hard to believe it's been three years since my friend Jack Wilson opened his South Austin establishment Radio Coffee and Beer. I remember when he first told me he about his plans to open a coffee shop and live music venue, I was playing bass in his band and we had just opened some Texas shows for the Lumineers, which were some of biggest shows I had ever played. Radio has become not only a go to hang out spot for myself and many of my friends, but also a central hub for the South Austin music and art community.
For their third birthday celebration, Radio brought in a mobile half pipe and invited local skaters to come do their thing. This was my first time photographing skateboarders and I had a had an absolute blast.
